MONTICELLO – Village of Monticello Police Sunday arrested an Orlando, Florida man on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from the Sunshine State.

Police arrested David Enriquez, 33, after they checked a report of a suspicious person at the Super 8 Motel on East Broadway.

They questioned Enriquez and a computer check revealed he was wanted by the Madison County sheriff’s Office in Orlando on a felony violation of probation arrested warrant issued on August 28 for a prior drug conviction.

He was being held by village police pending court action.
