Indiana man accused of sexually attacking baby arrested in Kingston

KINGSTON – A 21-year-old Fort Wayne, Indiana man was arrested early Sunday morning in the City of Kingston on a charge that he sexually assaulted a one-year-old infant.

Bobby Jo Flores was wanted in Indiana on a charge of rape in the first degree.

Detectives from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in Fort Wayne contacted the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office on the belief that he was in Ulster County. Through cell phone records, police learned Flores had been in Plattekill as recently as Saturday, October 11.

Police were led to an address in the City of Kingston where Flores was supposedly staying and with the aid of Kingston Police and the Ulster County Emergency Response Team, at 2 a.m. Sunday he was taken into custody without incident at 24 Adams Street, Apt. 1.

He was being held on fugitive from justice charges.
