Man charged with pulling over female driver, impersonating a cop

YONKERS – Police in Yonkers have arrested a local man and charged him with impersonating a police officer. Kyle Lipnicky, 24, was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Late Tuesday afternoon, a 61-year-old local woman was pulled over while driving by a man who identified himself as a police officer. He yelled at her and threatened to write her a ticket.

The woman called the police and Lipnicky fled the scene.

The victim described the car as a black Jetta, which was located by police. A search of the vehicle turned up five hypodermic syringes and a white metal spoon containing alleged heroin residue on it.
