Virginia man nabbed for being fugitive

GOSHEN – a 48-year old Richmond, VA man has been arrested in the Town of Goshen and charged with being a fugitive from justice from the state of Virginia.

New York State Police from the Monroe barracks arrested Gerald Leon Miller, Sr. He was wanted by the Chesterfield County Police in Virginia for an armed bank robbery he allegedly committed on September 24.

The state trooper vehicle being operated on Rt. 17 was equipped with an automatic license plate reader and it indicated Miller was a wanted felon.

He was taken into custody and committed to the Orange County Jail to await extradition to the State of Virginia.
