Delivery man robbed in Yonkers

YONKERS – Two men robbed a delivery man while in the rear parking lot of 473 Tuckahoe Road in the City of Yonkers late in the morning of November 11.

The victim, a 40-year-old Port Chester man, was in the rear of his delivery truck when a man got into the truck and demanded money.

A second man stood outside the truck holding a hammer and acting as a lookout.

The victim handed over his delivery money amounting to $1,080. The suspect then pushed him to the floor and closed the door.

The victim was able to activate an emergency latch to get out of the rear of the truck.

Officers searched the area and did not locate anyone fitting the description of the two men.
