Demolition derby driver hits $1 million lottery

MIDDLETOWN – A plumber who moonlights as a pit crew member and demolition derby driver at the Orange County Speedway has hit a $1 million New York State Lottery prize and the state will introduce him to the world today.  He will be accompanied by modified dirt racing champion Steve Dodd and his #88 car.

The Lottery said the winner will “fast track” his retirement with the winnings.
