Boat capsizes in Hudson

NEW WINDSOR – Two people made it out of the Hudson River safely Sunday morning after their boat capsized off Plum Point.

The vessel was reported to have overturned shortly after 9.a.m. Within minutes, the two occupants were able to make it to the shore.

The Newburgh Fire Department’s rescue boat was called out to secure the overturned boat.
