Two struck by train

NANUET – MTA Police continue to investigate two people being struck by a passenger train Friday night.

Metro-North and NJ Transit officials said the two people were struck by a commuter train traveling the Pascack Valley Line from Hoboken to Spring Valley at about 6:50 p.m.

Their conditions could not be determined.

Train service was interrupted during the rescue operations. Buses were provided for the commuters to continue on their journeys.
