|
NEW PALTZ – Two 13-year-old boys have been arrested by New Paltz Town Police and charged with numerous graffiti tags being painted on buildings and vehicles throughout New Paltz. The boys, who both live in New Paltz and attend the New Paltz Middle School, were charged with several counts of making graffiti as a misdemeanor and were referred to Ulster County Family Court. One of the boys admitted to spraying two graffiti tags and the other admitted to spraying several. Both admitted to painting some of them on the school building. This is the second graffiti spree that New Paltz Police investigated in the past two months. In the prior one, a 14-year-old New Paltz resident was charged with several counts of making graffiti after his tag was painted throughout New Paltz over a two-month period. The New Paltz Middle School was targeted in that graffiti spree as well. |
