|
KINGSTON - Blossom Rozman of Ellenville and Lake Katrine resident Orville Norman have been selected as the Ulster County Office for the Aging 2008 Seniors of the Year. The announcement was made by Anne Cardinale, director of the Ulster County Office for the Aging, and Susan Zimet, chairman of the Legislature’s Arts, Education, Tourism and Community Relations Committee. Rozman and Norman will be honored in a ceremony at the Empire State Plaza in Albany on May 6 and then again on May 14 by the Ulster County Legislature in the Legislative Chambers. “The pair are very deserving of the honor. They were chosen based on their lifelong service to their community and their continued dedication to Ulster County with their volunteer work and assisting with programs throughout the County,” said County Legislature Chairman David Donaldson. “They have enhanced our community by sharing their energy and ideas. Their contribution of engagement is greatly appreciated.” |
