Sullivan man sentenced on drug charge

MONTICELLO – A Livingston Manor man was sentenced as a second felony offender in Sullivan County Court on Friday to six years in state prison.

Bradley Dunham, 47, must also serve three years of post release supervisor for his conviction of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for possession of cocaine with intent to sell it.

According to Chief Assistant District Attorney James Farrell, as part of the plea agreement Dunham also forfeited a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1999 Jeep Cherokee SUV and $1,024 in United States currency.  Dunham was arrested in Livingston Manor on September 8, 2007 by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office after a vehicle and traffic stop.

Police officers found Dunham in possession of about 3 ½ grams of cocaine and the currency and later searched his residence in Hemlock Ridge Apartments and found over one ounce of cocaine and a digital scale inside.

Dunham was sentenced as a second felony offender having a prior felony attempted drug possession charge in 2000 in Manhattan.
