Three arrested in two separate drug investigations

KINGSTON – The URGENT task force has arrested two Town of Kingston men after a three-month investigation into cocaine sales in and around the City of Kingston and Town of Ulster.

Michael Pape, 25, and Greg Vedder, 32, were arrested in the Town of Ulster and found to be in possession of 16 grams of cocaine.

Both were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

In a separate investigation, the URGENT task force arrested Michael Cole, 32, of Kingston, on several drug charges.

Following a two-month investigation, Cole was arrested in the City of Kingston while in possession of nine grams of cocaine and a gravity knife.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
