URGENT snags 15 in year long drug investigation

KINGSTON – The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team has arrested 15 people following a year-long investigation into drug trafficking in and around the Town of Saugerties.

During the course of the investigation, URGENT members conducted several undercover buy operations and purchased cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and LSD.

All of the defendants were arrested during early morning raids in Saugerties, Kingston, Tannersville and Woodstock.

A search warrant was conducted at 171 Churchland Road in Saugerties, a residence that has generated several drug sales complaints and has been the subject of previous URGENT raids.

The following people were arrested on drug-related charges:

                Garrett Auer, 30, of Saugerties

                Carlos Flores, 28, of Saugerties

                Dominick Buck, 21, of Saugerties

                David Gillen, 43, of Tannersville

                Raymond Loughran, 47, of Tannersville

                Brad Kimes, s33, of Saugerties

                Robert Drumm, 43, of Saugerties

                Lawrence Williams, 21, of Saugerties

                Brandon Carney, 19, of Saugerties

                Edmund Drumm, 17, of Saugerties

                George Drumm, 71, of Saugerties

                Lindsey Ross, 31, of Woodstock

                Jose DeJesus, 42, of Saugerties

                Julio Rivera, Jr., 31, of Saugerties
