Ridge Hill development project to necessitate lane closures on I-87

YONKERS – The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that as part of the Ridge Hill development project, demolition work on the Ridge Hill Boulevard Bridge will necessitate both northbound and southbound lane closures from Interchange 6 (Yonkers, Bronxville, Tuckahoe Road) to the Yonkers Toll Barrier beginning on Monday, March 24, 2008.

Both the northbound and southbound lane closures will be in place from Interchange 6 to the Yonkers Toll Barrier and are scheduled from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Monday, March 24 through Thursday, March 27, and from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008.

The Authority will activate its Highway Advisory Radio 530 AM and Dynamic Message Signs to advise motorists of the scheduled lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this necessary construction work.
