Smallwood man arrested as fugitive from justice
MONTICELLO – Monticello Police arrested a Smallwood man on Friday and charged him with being a fugitive from justice from the state of Florida.
Eduardo Jesus Quintana, 38, was stopped for speeding while on Route 17B in the village.
A computer check showed he was wanted by the Palm Beach County, Florida Sheriff’s Department on a bench warrant charging him with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
He was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending further court action.
