| Men who stole from Wal-Mart store last week, did it twice, police now say |
|
TOWN OF NEWBURGH – The three men who walked into the Wal-Mart store in the Town of Newburgh early in the morning hours at the beginning of last week and walked out with over $6,000 worth of electronics, apparently went unnoticed doing the same thing the night before. Newburgh Town Police Officer Thomas Yozzo went back to the store to review security video to see if the men had cased out the store previously. “The night before about the same time in the morning, the three subjects went in the store as well, each took a cart that night, placed a plastic storage container inside the cart and filled up the storage container with I-Pod accessories, test kits for pregnancy, other health and beauty and pharmaceutical type stuff, weight loss pills, to the extent of almost $6,400,” he said. That next night, the three strong armed a clerk to open a locked cabinet and stolen several I-Pods and other electronic items. |
