Husband and wife arrested on number of charges

LIVINGSTON MANOR – State Police at Liberty Saturday arrested a husband and wife of Livingston Manor on criminal contempt and outstanding bench warrant charges.

State Police received information regarding Frederick Pagan being wanted by Schenectady City Police for a bench warrant involving an original charge of assault in the third degree and that he was possibly staying in Livingston Manor.

Investigation led troopers to an address there and Pagan was located with Laura Pagan and their four-year-old son.

Currently there is a valid order of protection preventing Mr. Pagan from having contact with his son and another order preventing Mrs. Pagan from allowing Mr. Pagan from having contact with his son.

Police also determined Pagan was wanted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Village of Liberty Police. Mrs. Pagan was also wanted by the Village of Monticello Police.

The child was given to the care and custody of family members of the biological mother.

Both Pagans were arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on bail.
