County employee charged with stealing gas from golf cart
HAMPTONBURGH - Orange County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested an employee of the Orange County Golf Course in Hamptonburgh for stealing gasoline from a golf cart. John Wildenberg, 64, of New Windsor was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor and released on his own recognizance to appear in Hamptonburgh court at a later date.
Wildenberg allegedly stole two gallons of gasoline from a golf cart and put it into his personal vehicle.
