Hall sees DNC springboard to launch his campaign

Hall (file): "... always
a hard campaigner"

DENVER – Congressman John Hall of Dover Plains spent the week in Denver to participate in the Democratic National Convention and its selection of Senator Barak Obama as the Party’s nominee for President.

Hall is seeking a second term in the House and he told MidHudsonNews.com he will be hitting the bricks for his own campaign when he returns to the Hudson Valley.

He faces a challenge in November from Republican Kieran Lalor.

“This is my fifth campaign now and I am always a hard campaigner and I work hard to try to do the job while I am in the job,” Hall said. “So I have a few months of hard work ahead of me, which I am looking forward to.”

Hall has previously been a school board member and a county legislator.
