A joint investigation by the Town of Newburgh Police Detective Division and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit resulted in two arrests in the Town of Newburgh.

Following a month long undercover investigation, Nelson Calderon, 18, of Newburgh was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Christian Lujan, 24, of Newburgh was charged with conspiracy.

Both were arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
