High Falls man charged with sexual assault, unlawful manufacture of meth


KINGSTON – State Police arrested a High Falls man following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault.

Police were investigating a report of sexual assault on January 8 by William Williams, 60, when they discovered a methamphetamine lab in his residence. The State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response team was called in to clear the home.

Williams was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail on charges of unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material, criminal possession of methamphetamine, predatory sexual assault, aggravated sexual abuse, criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon and felony rape.
