Newburgh land Bank names new executive director

Cappella

NEWBURGH – Allison Cappella has been named the new executive director of the Newburgh Community Land Bank, bringing her legal and community development experience to the organization.

She was previously an associate attorney with Jacobowitz and Gubits in Walden.

Cappella is president of the Board of Directors of the Newburgh Preservation Association and has served as a board member of a number of Newburgh non-profits including Safe Harbors of the Hudson.

“Allison has already proven to be a dynamic leader and an effective advocate for a range of issues in the City of Newburgh,” said Land Bank Board Chairwoman Lisa Daily. “Her legal, real estate, and non-profit expertise will help continue to guide our organization forward into a strong future.”
