Greene County father and son arrested for selling heroin

CATSKILL – A father and son from Catskill have been charged with felony drug possession following an eight-month investigation into the sale of heroin in the towns of Cairo and Catskill.

Andrew Robinson, Sr., 41, and his son, Andrew Robinson, Jr., 25, were indicted by a Greene County grand jury on felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Andrew Jr. was also charged with misdemeanor drug possession and criminal possession of a weapon, a dagger.

Andrew Sr. was also charged with felony criminal sale of drugs.

Investigators executed a search warrant at the residence of Andrew Jr. in Catskill and seized heroin, scales, packaging and the weapon.

Andrew Jr. was committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond while his father was committed on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

The investigation was conducted by State Police at the Catskill barracks, Greene County District Attorney’s Office, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Cairo Police Department.
