Highland man arrested for threatening with knife

HIGHLAND – A Highland man is under arrest after he allegedly threatened another person with a knife and violated two orders of protection from Poughkeepsie City and Town of Lloyd Court.

Lloyd Town Police arrested Jerry Pittman, 50, on Tuesday on charges of criminal contempt, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
