Pawling man charged with child pornography


POUGHKEEPSIE – A 30-year-old Pawling man was arrested on Tuesday in connection with an investigation into child pornography.

Felipe Ramon is accused of soliciting pornographic photos from, and sending photos to, a child under the age of 17 on social media sites and a cell phone.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center conducted the investigation noting the victim is known to Ramon.

He has been charged with nine counts each of use of a child in a sexual performance, possession of sexual performance by a child, and promoting an obscene performance by a child. All of the charges are felonies.

Ramon was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
