Kingston burglar foiled by feisty woman


KINGSTON – City police responded to a reported burglary on Main Street at about 4:15 Monday morning.  

The 63-year-old woman said a man was in her bedroom.  She put up a fight and the intruder fled.  The woman sustained a minor hand injury. 

Investigators quickly developed a possible suspect. Lukas Suter-Winter, 26, of 254 Washington Avenue, was arrested and charged with felony burglary.  He was ordered held pending arraignment. 

The investigation is continuing.
