Political endorsements announced
The CSEA Local 1000 Southern Region has endorsed Republican Dutchess County Comptroller James Coughlan for re-election. Rockland County Executive Edwin Day, a Republican, has been endorsed by Teamsters Local 445 and the New York State Supreme Court Officers Association. The Sierra Club’s Lower Hudson Valley Chapter has endorsed Democrat George Latimer for Westchester County Executive. The Hudson Catskill Central Labor Council has endorsed Republican Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus for re-election. The New York Progressive Action Network and its local affiliate, Principled Progressives of Orange County, have endorsed Democrat Patrick Davis for Orange County executive.
