Deadline to register to vote is tomorrow

ALBANY – Residents wanting to vote in the November 7 general election must register no later than tomorrow (Friday, October 13).

Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by midnight, October 13 and received by the board of elections no later than October 18 to be valid for the upcoming general election.

The voter registration form can be downloaded at www.elections.ny.gov. Forms may also be picked up at county boards of elections, post offices and local libraries.

Persons who are registered but have moved to a new address in the same county should notify their board of elections in writing no later than October 18.

If you wish to change your party enrollment to participate in a primary next year your change must be received by your local county board no later than October 13.
