911 emergency service restored to Mamakating area

MONTICELLO – Frontier Communications resolved the issue of 911 emergency calls not making their way from the Mamakating area to the Sullivan County emergency services center on Wednesday.  Service was out for several hours.

A bad trunk line temporarily interfered with 911 service for 888 exchange customers in the Town of Mamakating.

The service was disrupted early Wednesday morning and restored by mid-afternoon.
