Pine Plains man charged with robbing neighbor

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Pine Plains man was arrested on Tuesday evening following a robbery investigation.

Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Hillside Village Road in Pine Plains for a report of a neighbor dispute.  It turned out to be a robbery with money taken.

Investigation led to the arrest of the victim’s neighbor, Zachary Macissac, 26, who is accused of forcibly taking some $40 in cash from the victim while at their residence.  Macissac was charged with felony robbery and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
