Middletown woman charged with assault

TOWN OF WALLKILL – A Middletown woman was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for allegedly assaulting and robbing another woman while the victim sat in her car on Maple Fields Drive.

Town Police Chief Robert Hertman said investigation revealed that Keyaira Carter, 18, who was acting with others, allegedly struck the victim in the face while removing property from her late Wednesday night December 22.

Carter was charged with robbery and petit larceny. She was released on $200 bail.
