Woman arrested for gunpoint robbery of gas station


NEW WINDSOR – A New Windsor woman is charged with holding up the Sunoco gas station at 800 Blooming Grove Turnpike in the town late Tuesday night.

The clerk told police a masked woman entered the store, pulled a gun and demanded money before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers located the suspect, Jennifer Williams, 41, of 18 Guerney Drive in New Windsor on Provost Drive. She was taken into custody without incident. 

Williams was charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence as felonies and criminal possession of a weapon as a misdemeanor and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
