CARMEL – The Putnam County Sheriff’s office charged a Town of Southeast man with rape.

On November 11, Ronaldo Araely Lopez-Miguel, 20, of the Town of Southeast, was charged with felony rape, and misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Lopez-Miguel’s arrest was the result of an investigation that was initiated on November 9 when the father of a 13-year-old girl told police his daughter was involved in a sexual relationship with Lopez-Miguel.

He was arraigned and committed to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash or bond.

A detainer was placed on him as an illegal alien.
