Woman killed in Hillcrest crash was NJ resident

RAMAPO – Police have released the name of the woman killed in Wednesday morning’s crash on Route 202 in the Hillcrest area. Cecilia Islas-Galvez, 44, of Passaic, New Jersey was a third row passenger in passenger Dodge Caravan when it crossed lanes and slammed into on oncoming car on the passenger side.

The driver of that vehicle, Ranulfo Tula-Nocelott, 44, of Passaic, was admitted to Nyack Hospital with internal injuries.

A middle row passenger, Carolina Murillo-Meja, 34, of Clifton, NJ, was admitted to Westchester Medical Center and was reported in critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle, a Acura TL, Luis Lopez-Martinez, 34, of Haverstraw, was taken to Nyack Hospital with internal injuries.

A front seat passenger, Honiel Capellan, 35, of Haverstraw, was admitted to Nyack Hospital and a rear seat passenger, Oscar Capellao-Fermid, 33, of Haverstraw, was admitted to in critical condition, was transported to Westchester Medical Center from Nyack Hospital. He also suffered from internal injuries, police said.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
