Goshen middle school conducts lockdown drill

GOSHEN – The C.J. Hooker Middle School in the Goshen School District Thursday conducted its first of a minimum of three lockdown drills to be completed this year. The 20 minute drill began at 8:30 a.m. went smoothly.

The school district’s lockdown protocol was developed with the guidance and assistance of the Village of Goshen Police Department.

School officials said their goals at all times are to protect the safety of the students and staff, to keep parents informed, and to prevent any unnecessary anxiety.
