Second Indian Point employee arrested for stealing copper wire from plant

BUCHANAN – State Police have arrested a second Entergy employee in connection with the theft of over $10,000 worth of copper wire from the Indian Point nuclear power plant where they work.

Troopers arrested Christopher Albea, 40, at his Marion Way, Wappingers Falls home on Friday morning.

Albea was employed in the maintenance department of Indian Point and was charged with felony grand larceny following a joint investigation involving State Police and Entergy Corporation.

This is related to a previous arrest of Theodore Kozelka on January 11 on a felony grand larceny charge.

Albea was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
