|
LIBERTY – Village Police have arrested a Liberty woman and charged her with felony burglary following a break in at an auction house in the Village of Liberty. Carrie Sampson, 24, was arrested last Friday afternoon, February 8, following an investigation into the burglary Thursday night. When police took her into custody, they recovered the gold jewelry that had been stolen. She had apparently gained access to the business by climbing through a window and stole jewelry and cash. In addition to the burglary charge, Sampson was also arrested for petit larceny. She was arraigned and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail. |
