Kingston PD arrest Bloomington man on drug charges

KINGSTON – A Bloomington man has been charged by Kingston City Police with several drug-related charges after the Special Investigations Unit looked into the sale of drug in and around the city by a suspected dealer.

Police concluded their investigation with the arrest of Donald Tochterman, 38, of 1067 Creeklocks Road in Bloomington when they executed a search warrant at his home. The search turned up a large quantity of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.

Tochterman was charged with felonies of two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Kingston Police were assisted by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office Patrol and K-9 divisions.
