Three charged with gang assault in Kingston

KINGSTON – An Ulster County grand jury has indicted three men in connection with a fight and stabbing in Kingston earlier this year.  The three suspects were arrested by Kingston City Police.

Tau McBean, Lenox Peters and Darrell Grosvenor were each charged with three counts of first-degree assault and gang assault in the first degree.

The charges stem from a melee involving 15 members of the O’Neill Street Boys street gang during which two gang members were stabbed.

Weapons were recovered nearby – one kitchen knife snapped at the handle, and two knives taped together.

The two injured men were treated at the hospital for what were then described by a prosecutor as “severe and serious injuries.”
