White Plains man pleads guilty to knifepoint rape

WHITE PLAINS – A White Plains man pled guilty in Westchester County Court on Monday to felony predatory sexual assault in the first degree for sexually assaulting and forcibly raping a woman at knifepoint.

Shortly after midnight on March 30, 2012, Alberto Gomez Ojeda, 29, approached a 26-year-old woman as she was walking home alone from work in the area of Lake Street in White Plains. He put a knife to her neck and face while dragging her down a dark driveway where he sexually assaulted and forcibly raped her at knifepoint.

Ojeda fled the scene.   White Plains Police investigated and arrested him on April 1.   He remains in the Westchester County Jail without bail pending a November sentencing.
