Argument leads to car theft

CRAWFORD – Town Police in Crawford have arrested a Montgomery man following a physical argument with a woman in the town.

Polcie said that on August 30 at 2:30 a.m., Jorel Parrilla, 33, had allegedly become physical and forcibly stole car keys from a female victim, leaving the scene on Howell Street with her car.

Police discovered Parrilla had been arrested on August 11 for damaging the 27-year-old woman’s property and an order of protection was issued against him.

Parrilla was located in the Village of Montgomery and arrested, charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal contempt.  He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
