Wager says he’s “in” for the State Assembly race

MILLBROOK – Republican Richard Wager, who ran unsuccessfully in a special election for the 103rd Assembly District seat in February, said he will seek the GOP line in this fall’s election for the new 105th District.

He will face two other Republicans in a party primary in September. Former Assemblyman Patrick Manning has the endorsement of the Dutchess County Republican Committee, but Kieran Lalor, who ran unsuccessfully for Congress in the past, will be running in the September primary as will Wager.

“I am 100 percent committed to representing the families of Dutchess County in the New York State Assembly,” Wager said.
