Police look for ex-boyfriend in slashing
YONKERS – A 22-yer-old Yonkers woman sustained severe lacerations to her face and leg when her ex-boyfriend broke into her apartment and assaulted her with a box cutter, Yonkers City Police said.
The suspect, Malik Salahuddeen, 22, fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was taken to a local trauma center for treatment of her injuries.
Detectives are investigating and anyone with information on Salahuddeen’s whereabouts is asked to call 1-914-377-7724. There is an active warrant out for his arrest.
