Two arrested for stealing construction materials from site

RAMAPO – Two men have been arrested following their alleged involved in the theft of construction materials from a house that is under construction on Bluefield Drive in the Town of Ramapo.

A neighbor spotted the two men taking the materials at 12:51 a.m. Saturday, confronted them and was reportedly punched by one of the suspects. The neighbor wasn't injured.

The suspects fled, but the witness provided police with descriptions and the two were arrested later at their respective homes.

Charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree burglary were Anton Naumkin, 25, of Suffern and Maury Pagan, 19, of Airmont. Police said additional charges may be filed.
