Ellenville man charged with forgery, grand larceny

ELLENVILLE – State Police have arrested an Ellenville man on several charges including for the unauthorized use of another person's credit card and using another person's vehicle without their permission.

Arnold Marciglio, 44, was charged with forgery and two counts of grand larceny, as felonies; and petit larceny, falsifying business records, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and being an unlicensed operator.

Police allege Marciglio stole a credit card and used it and also took a vehicle without the owner's permission and drove it with a revoked license.

He also allegedly extorted money from a local businessman.

Marciglio, who is also wanted on an outstanding warrant in Orange County for criminal contempt in the second degree, was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
