Sullivan Treasurer’s office honored for excellence in financial reporting

MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Treasurer’s Office has been awarded a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report prepared in 2011 for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010.
The treasurer’s office has received the award for the past several years.
Treasurer Ira Cohen attributed the award to his staff and that of Commissioner of Management and Budget Josh Potosek.
The award came from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
