North Rockland man charged with felony assault

STONY POINT – A Stony Point man has been arrested by Stony Point Town Police on an arrest warrant for second-degree arson.

Ereidis Pena, 19, of 3 East Main Street was arrested on a warrant from the Town of Haverstraw. He was located at his residence where he resisted arrest and struggled with Stony Point police officers. He was taken into custody and turned over to Town of Haverstraw Police.

He will also be charged in Stony Point with second-degree arson and resisting arrest. During that struggle, one officer suffered a minor injury.
