South Fallsburg man charged with burning down house

FALLSBURG – A South Fallsburg man has been charged with felony arson and burglary in connection with an incident where a house burned down.

Town of Fallsburg Police charged Richard Honaker, 22, with burglary and arson, both in the third degree. It is alleged that he entered a residence, poured gasoline on a couch and set it on fire. As a result, the entire residence burned down.

Honaker was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $12,500 bail pending a future court appearance.
