Sullivan County easement accepted by Delaware Highlands Conservancy

BETHEL – The Delaware Highlands Conservancy has accepted a 45 acre conservation easement in Bethel, which adjoins a 119 acre easement held by the Conservancy.  This is the 66th easement for the organization, bringing its total protected acres in the Upper Delaware River region to 13,185.

Grant funding from the Common Waters Fund was used to cover the costs of establishing the easement on the Bethel property.

Protecting the land with a conservation easement ensures its valuable scenic views and agricultural farmland.
