Man shot three times in Yonkers

YONKERS – Police continue to investigate the shooting of a 41-year-old Yonkers man who sustained three gunshot wounds just before midnight on January 31.

The victim told Yonkers police he was standing in front of 75 Saratoga Avenue when he heard shots behind him and felt pain to the back of his body. He was transported to a local trauma center where he was treated for gunshot wounds to his elbow, back and buttocks. He was last reported in stable condition and expected to survive, police said.

Police, meanwhile, scoured the area of the shooting and found shell casings, but no suspects.
